How I work

Soil Stories is the framework behind the work

Clients don’t work with a big anonymous agency. They work directly with me. Soil Stories is the science communication process I use on every project.

What it is

Research, translated to be understood

Soil Stories is how I turn research, field observations, product mechanisms and technical expertise into content people can actually learn from: one topic researched once, then produced across every format your audience needs.

How it works

Three rules I don’t break

  • Science first. I start with research, mechanisms and technical truth before design or copy.
  • Built as systems. One topic can become posts, visuals, articles, website sections and customer education.
  • Made for trust. The goal isn’t to make a product look better; it’s to help the market understand why it matters.

My journey

From soil science to science communication

I didn’t drift into this work. I moved toward the problem I kept seeing: good agricultural science often fails because the market never gets a clear explanation.

  • 01

    The foundation

    Years inside soil science

I spent years studying soil health, soil biology, biological farming and sustainable agriculture. The science was fascinating, but I kept noticing the same problem: important biological work was hard for the market to understand.

  • 02

    The realisation

    The gap was repeated education

A single brochure, post or explainer is useful, but complex science needs repeated learning. Biological products, carbon, pH correction and microbial processes all need clear education over time.

  • 03

    The choice

I built Soil Stories around that need

I began translating research, internal expertise and biological mechanisms into illustrations, writing, articles and educational series: my framework for turning science into content systems.

  • 04

    Today

Now I work as a content partner

I work with agriculture and biological brands as a science content partner. Some need one asset, many need a monthly system. When people understand the science, trust becomes easier to build.

Where I work, and why

The biological side of agriculture, by choice

I work with companies building biologicals, biofertilisers, biopesticides and regenerative farming systems, not because it’s a trend, but because this is where science communication has real impact.

I left research after watching good companies fail to explain their own science. That problem is still what I fix.

  • Complex scienceBiologicals are harder to explain, exactly where a soil scientist doing visuals makes the difference.
  • Weekly publishingI publish science visuals every week, not only for clients. It keeps my thinking sharp.
  • After deliveryClients come back because I stayed present, not because I chased them.
  • Soil connects everythingFood, water, climate, nutrition. It starts underground. My work makes that visible.

“Soil health is human health. Not a slogan. The science.

Why this approach

Science understanding and visual storytelling

Most agencies understand design. Most scientists understand technical detail. Very few combine both with a content strategy built for trust.

  • 01

    Research to content

Papers, trial notes, field observations. I turn technical input into clear content your audience can follow.

  • 02

    Science first

I understand soil biology, plant nutrition and agronomic mechanisms. Work starts from scientific context, not surface design.

  • 03

    Built as a learning path

Posts, articles, visuals and explanations in sequence: a system that helps people learn the science step by step.

  • 04

    LinkedIn and beyond

One science theme becomes LinkedIn posts, articles, brochures and presentations: a complete communication system.

  • 05

    Accurate, not heavy

Science protected, no overpromising, no vague claims: clear explanation with visual clarity.

  • 06

    Context compounds over time

The longer we work together, the sharper each new piece becomes: brand context is never wasted.
